Training on Application of satellite Generated Atmospheric and Climatic Datasets

jointly organized by departmentof geomatics engineering society and Department of Geoinformatics z-gis ,university of salzburg(PLUS),Austria

The workshop organized by Erasmus focused on the practical applications of satellite-generated atmospheric and climatic datasets. This event was made possible with the support of the Geomatics Engineering Society. It was a collaborative effort between the Department of Geomatics Engineering Society and the Department of Geoinformatics (z-gis) at the University of Salzburg (PLUS), Austria.

The workshop likely aimed to educate participants about the utilization of satellite-derived data for various applications related to atmospheric and climatic studies. These applications may include weather forecasting, climate modeling, environmental monitoring, and more. Participants likely had the opportunity to gain hands-on experience in working with such datasets, gaining valuable skills in geospatial technology.

The involvement of the Geomatics Engineering Society highlights their commitment to promoting geospatial science and technology and their willingness to support educational initiatives like this workshop. Collaboration between academic departments and organizations like Erasmus, PLUS, and the Geomatics Engineering Society showcases the importance of interdisciplinary efforts in advancing knowledge and skills in the geomatics and geoinformatics fields.
